In light of reviewing your application and successful completion of the selection exam at this factory, it has been decided to appoint you at the grade mentioned above from 07/04/2013.
Conditions:
1. Salary:
a. Basic pay .............................................. 3,285.71 taka
b. House rent 40% ................................... 1314.29 taka
c. Medical allowance .............................. 200.00 taka

2. Provision [probation] period (Temporary period/time): The first three months of employment will be regarded as the provision [probation] period. If you are unable to prove yourself to be a skilled worker in this three month-period, a further three months will be counted as a provision [probation] period. After that you will be counted as a permanent worker/employee, you will no be issued any further letter.
3. Work hours: From 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, a total of 8 hours, daily is regarded as general duty. From 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm=total of two hours, is overtime duty, but it is not compulsory.
4. Rate of overtime: Overtime will be double the basic salary.
5. Wages: Wages of the past month will be paid within 07 working days of the next month.
6. Holiday and closure:
a. You will enjoy a 1-day weekly holiday according to the law, following government directives [as regards which particular day].
a) You will enjoy the following annual holidays from the day of appointment: (i) Festival holiday: 11-12 days (ii) Annual holiday: 1 day leave after every 18 days (valid for whoever has been employed for 1 year or more) (iii) Casual leave: 10 days in a year (with pay) (iv) Sick leave: 14 days in a year (with pay) (v) Maternity leave: 16 weeks (valid for whoever has been employed for 1 year or more).
7. Break for lunch/rest: You will enjoy 1 hour daily for lunch and rest.
8. Attendance: An Attendance Card will be issued for everyday attendance, run on automated machines. You will be required to touch/punch it in the machine, kept in the Time Section
9. Termination: A permanent worker can terminate his employment after giving the authorities 60 days prior notice, for a temporary worker, it is 30 days.
10. Other benefits and facilities: You can avail of the company’s specialist doctor free of cost.
11. Termination from job without termination facility [?]: If any misconduct or allegation against you is proven during the provision [probation] period, the auhtorities have the power to terminate your employment.
